Disability Benefit Specialist Program
If you are age 18-59 with: a physical disability, developmental disability, mental illness, are blind/low vision, are deaf/hard of hearing or have a substance use disorder, you are eligible for the Disability Benefit Specialist Program.
- Veterans’ Benefits Help to determine which benefits, programs and services you may be entitled to or that best meet your needs
- Help with applications for benefits, programs and services
- Low-Income Tax Credits
- Assistance in obtaining or retaining benefits and services
- In some cases, you may receive representation in formal appeals related to denials of eligibility, termination of benefits or overpayment of public and private benefits
- Provide referrals, assistance and support on other matters including disability issues and rights

- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Low-Income Tax Credits
- Medicaid (Medical Assistance)

- Medicare, including Part D

Elder Benefit Specialist Program
If you are 60 years of age or older and you are having a problem securing a public or private benefit, you are eligible for the Elder Benefit Specialist Program.

- Insurance – Supplements, Long-Term Care
- Financial problems, budgeting
- Housing (subsidized, landlord/tenant issues)
